Real-time Bell Badge

The bell icon in the top bar shows a red badge with your unread count. It updates instantly — when a seller sends a quote, the badge increments in real-time via a live WebSocket connection. No need to keep refreshing the page.

Quick-view Dropdown

Click the bell to open a mini dropdown showing your 5 most recent notifications. Each entry shows the notification title, message, and a timestamp. Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant page (Quotes, Orders, etc.).

Full Notifications Page

Click "View all notifications →" at the bottom of the dropdown to open the full Notifications page. Here you can see your complete notification history, filter by type (New Quote, Order Update, Quote Update, System), and paginate through older entries.

Filter by Type

Use the filter pills — "New Quote", "Order Update", "Quote Update", "System" — to focus on a specific category. For example, filter by "Order Update" to see only payment confirmation and dispatch notifications.

Mark as Read

Click any notification card to mark it as read (blue dot disappears). Use "Mark all read" at the top right to clear all at once. Your unread count in the bell resets immediately.
