Chhattisgarh: the rule within the state
- Within Chhattisgarh an e-way bill is needed when the consignment value (GST included) exceeds ₹1,00,000.
- Own limit of ₹50,000 for: Pan masala (2106 90 20); tobacco and tobacco products (2402, 2403); veneer sheets, laminated sheets, particle board, fibre board and plywood (4408, 4410 to 4412); iron and steel and articles of it (7202 to 7217, 7303 to 7308, 7312 to 7318, 7320, 7324); coal (2701 to 2704).
- The same limits apply within a district and between districts.
- Gold, precious stones and jewellery: the state has not mandated an e-way bill under Rule 138F, so none is needed within the state.
- Between Chhattisgarh and any other state the central rule applies: an e-way bill above ₹50,000, and at any value for job work and exempt-artisan handicrafts.
