Goa: the rule within the state
- Within Goa an e-way bill is needed when the consignment value (GST included) exceeds ₹50,000.
- It applies only to these goods: Iron and steel; ferrous and non-ferrous metal and scrap; wall and flooring tiles; processed tobacco and products; cigarettes, gutkha and pan masala; plywood, block board, decorative and laminated sheets; coal including coke; timber and timber products; cement and cement products; marble and granite; Kota stones; naphtha; FMCG; namkeens and sweetmeats; IT products; electronic goods; pipes and fittings; plumbing and sanitary items; cashew nuts; electrical goods; readymade garments; furniture.
- Gold, precious stones and jewellery: the state has not mandated an e-way bill under Rule 138F, so none is needed within the state.
- Between Goa and any other state the central rule applies: an e-way bill above ₹50,000, and at any value for job work and exempt-artisan handicrafts.
